柬埔寨西哈努克港经济特区，简称西港特区，由中柬两国企业共同开发建设，面向全球，致力为世界各地企业搭建跨国投资平台，实现共赢发展。经过十多年的开发建设，西哈努克港经济特区已成为柬埔寨当地生产、生活配套设施完善的国际化工业园区，引入来自中国、欧美、东南亚等国家和地区的企业（机构）188家，创造就业岗位约3万个。

中国国家主席习近平赞誉“蓬勃发展的西哈努克港经济特区是中柬务实合作的样板”；柬埔寨前首相洪森亲王先后五次亲临特区，并高度评价“西港特区是中柬两国‘一带一路’合作取得丰硕成果的典范”；2023年9月，柬埔寨首相洪玛奈正式访问中国，在双方发表的《联合公报》中，再次提及西港特区。

Sihanoukville Special Economy Zone in Cambodia, referred to as SSEZ, is jointly developed and constructed by Chinese and Cambodian enterprises. It is global-oriented and is committed to building a transnational investment platform for enterprises around the world to achieve win-win development. After more than ten years of development and construction, the SSEZ has become an international industrial park with complete local production and living supporting facilities in Cambodia. It has introduced 188 enterprises (institutions) from China, Europe, the United States, Southeast Asia and other countries and regions. About 30,000 jobs will be created.

Chinese President Xi Jinping praised "the flourishing SSEZ as a model of pragmatic cooperation between China and Cambodia"; former Cambodian Prime Minister Prince Hun Sen visited the special zone five times and spoke highly of "the Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone is a model of China-Cambodia's Belt and Road Initiative". 'A model of fruitful cooperation'; in September 2023, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manai officially visited China. In the "Joint Communiqué" issued by the two sides, the Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone was mentioned again.
